When we were kids, we’d race tires down the hill and bottles in the stream.
For a long time, longer than most, we lived our youth in the purest of ways. What we didn’t realize was that slowly those tires, rolling down the hill and on our bikes, would turn into the ones on our cars and trucks, and those bottles would become blue ones that we’d drink till dawn.
It’s funny how time, just like our tires, rolls on — almost without us knowing because we’re so busy living it.
Week 4 Water Tower DFS Picks
WRs: Tyler Lockett & D.K. Metcalf (Seattle at Miami) — $7,000 & $6,800
Both Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf, the Seahawks’ top wideouts, have been part of one of the league’s best offenses this year. Honestly, you’re making a mistake at this point if you don’t have at least one of these guys in your lineup in DFS. Russell Wilson has been dominant all season and with a date with the Dolphins this week, it should be another big week for these Seattle studs. – Elliot Hicks
QB: Russell Wilson (Seattle at Miami) — $7,800
Russell Wilson has absolutely dominated every game so far this season. He’s thrown 925 yards, 14 touchdowns and only one interception through the first three games. And this week he is up against a Dolphins team that ranks among the worst passing defenses in the NFL. Wilson is doing his best to earn an MVP trophy this season, and with Chris Carson banged up, his arm will carry Seattle to another big win. – Thomas Cuda
RB: Aaron Jones (Atlanta at Green Bay) — $7,500
If I’m paying up for a running back in Week 4, why not Aaron Jones who has been nothing short of amazing so far this season? He’s scored over 16 Points Per Reception (PPR) fantasy points in each of his three outings, had a 46 point performance in Week 2 and is currently the RB2 in season-long PPR leagues.
He faces a faltering Falcons defense that has been known for its collapses to the air attack. But quietly, Atlanta has also already allowed four total touchdowns and 6.3 receptions per game to opposing running backs. With this defense likely catering to Jones’ strengths, it’s hard not to love him this week, no matter the price. – Seth Woolcock
RB: Alvin Kamara (New Orleans at Detroit) — $8000
Alvin Kamara went off last week for 45.2 PPR points against a decent Green Bay defense. He had under 100 rushing yards but had 13 catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns.
This week he gets to show his talents against a very weak Detroit defense. And with Brees seeming to prefer the shorter, higher percentage throws, look for Kamara to feast again this week. – Nate Polvogt
Week 4 Typewriter DFS Picks
WR: Tee Higgins (Jacksonville at Cincinnati) — $4,500
Tee Higgins didn’t make a huge splash in his first two games. But in week 3, he brought in five-of-nine passes for 40 yards and two touchdowns. His total yardage may not impress yet, but his red-zone usage and chemistry with Joe Burrow have.
This week, Higgins gets to cement that chemistry and prove himself a regular offensive contributor at home against Jacksonville. – Cuda
QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick (Seattle @ Miami) — $5,400
This isn’t the Seattle defense of yore that you tried to avoid throwing against. This Seattle defense is the worst pass defense in the NFL right now. Ryan Fitzpatrick just keeps finding new ways to amaze us, as he did last week with not only his arm but his legs. Can he be “Fitzmagic” again this week?
He most certainly can. While Seattle’s defense is atrocious against the pass, their offense is one of the best in the league. Miami will be playing from behind, so look for the to air it out, and maybe you’ll catch some lightning in a bottle for the win. – Polvogt
TE: Jimmy Graham (Indianapolis at Chicago) — $3,800
Jimmy Graham’s 2020 breakout came for the Bears this past week with Chicago shifting to Nick Foles at quarterback. He may not be in his prime anymore, but the 33-year-old showed he still has something left in the tank. Foles’ best career stints came with him throwing to solid tight ends like Zach Ertz. Graham should continue to be one to watch as Foles settles into Chicago’s offense. – Hicks
RB: Jeff Wilson Jr. (Philadelphia at San Francisco) — $4,900
Although it seems like anyone with a pulse could be considered a sneaky running back start here in Week 4, the true answer remains Jeff Wilson Jr.
He scored 21.9 PPR points in Week 3 and could be the lead back in the bay on Sunday with the health of Jerick McKinnon, Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman still uncertain. Philadelphia’s porous offense, intertwined with San Francisco still pacing top-10 in the league in rushing attempts make Wilson worth every bit of his $4,900 price. – Woolcock
