2024 College Football Week 11 Picks (ATS & Totals)
Michigan @ #8 Indiana | Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET
In Bloomington, Ind., the undefeated, eighth-ranked Indiana Hoosiers are laying 14.0 points against the 5-4 Michigan Worlverine. The Hoosiersโ QB Kurtis Rourkeย and company finally faced adversity last week, going down 10-0 to Michigan State before storming back with 47 unanswered points. Indiana is now 9-0 ATS and has hit the over in seven of nine games.
Michigan, on the other hand, has been disastrous ATS, posting an 0-9 record this season. They lack a dynamic passing game, with TE Colston Loveland accounting for the bulk of their receiving yards last week against Oregon. With a suddenly anemic rushing attack led by Kalel Mullings, who has failed to crack 20 rushing yards in back-to-back games, Michiganโs offense doesnโt inspire confidence against Indianaโs well-rounded defense.
While IU has only beaten Michigan once in the last 29 meetings, that was before the Curt Cignetti era. Given the contrasting form and firepower, weโll lay the points with Indiana here.
Pick: Indiana -14.0 (-110)
#21 Colorado @ Texas Tech | Saturday, 4:00 p.m. ET
We have a Big 12 clash in Lubbock, Texas, between the 6-3 Texas Tech Red Raiders and the 21st-ranked Colorado Buffaloes. Texas Tech is coming off a big win but finds itself as a 3.5-point home underdog. Colorado has covered in six straight games and, with a bye week under their belt, will have a healthy roster led by WR/CB Travis Hunter and QB Shedeur Sanders.
Texas Techโs strength lies in its offense, which is ranked 22nd in the country. Yet, with the 129th-ranked defense, theyโre prone to giving up points in bunches. Colorado, boasting one of the more explosive offenses in the game, should be ready to exploit a defense this leaky.
With unfamiliar opponents, potent offenses and defensive weaknesses on both sides, weโre looking at the makings of a high-scoring shootout.
Pick: Over 63.0ย (-108)
#11 Alabama @ #14 LSU | Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET
The week’s marquee matchup sees #11 Alabama favored by 2.5 as they travel to Baton Rouge, La., to face the 14th-ranked LSU Tigers. Both teams are fresh off bye weeks, but the Tide is coming in hot after a dominant 34-0 win over Missouri. Despite being ranked 11th, Alabama has been fairly average on both sides of the ball (37th in total offense, 42nd in total defense) and sits at 4-4 ATS this season.
LSUโs offense, led by QB Garrett Nussmeier, ranks 21st in total offense but has shown vulnerability in recent weeks, with Nussmeier throwing seven interceptions in his last four games. The Tigersโ defense, which just struggled to contain A&Mโs rushing QB Marcel Reed, could be in for another test with Alabamaโs Jalen Milroe. Given the Tideโs extra week to prepare, expect a game plan focused on Milroeโs running ability to create opportunities.
With Alabamaโs edge at scoring offense and scoring defense, plus a mobile quarterback, we’re backing the Tide on the moneyline here.
Pick: Alabama ML (-148)
