“Between Bets” is an article series revealing our staff’s best wagers across the NFL, NASCAR and PGA Tour. This week’s offering features our favorite 2024 Super Bowl long shot. It might seem early to hedge on a team to win a game almost a year away. However, the odds may be the longest they’ll get, providing gamblers with value.

Green Bay Packers to Win 2024 Super Bowl | +3500
There’s a lot up in the air in Green Bay as we march toward the new league year on March 15. The team has key players heading into NFL Free Agency, including wide receivers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, tight end Robert Tonyan and safety Adrian Amos. However, the biggest chip hanging in the balance is quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Putting your cash down on the Green Bay Packers to win the 2024 Super Bowl is a bet on Rodgers emerging from his darkness retreat in a hobbit hole and deciding to stay in Green Bay. Of course, he could demand a trade or retire. If that happens, Jordan Love will likely be behind center for the Packers in 2024, complicating matters. However, it seems increasingly likely that Rodgers will remain in green and gold.
Should Rodgers return, these odds will immediately shrink, ad Green Bay is poised to be much improved from what we saw last year. As the season progressed, Rodgers showed a rapport with rookie wide receivers Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson. AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones will be a dynamic backfield duo again next season. This is also a bet on Rodgers wanting to cement his legacy, walking away a Super Bowl champion to round out a stellar career. At +3500 on DraftKings, it’s worth throwing a unit down on a pick that might get more popular with shorter odds down the road.
