I hope you’re all recovered from the holiday weekend! It’s time to move into Week 14 of the NFL season as we unfortunately near the end. But we aren’t there yet!
We have some solid matchups this week with players I’m eyeing up for my DFS and FastDraft Flex Six Frenzy lineups. Let’s not waste any time and get right to it!
Week 14 NFL “FastDraft Flex Six Frenzy” Lineup Advice (2025) | NFL DFS Picks
James Cook (RB, Buffalo Bills)
Oh ho hum, just another excellent season so far from Buffalo Bills running back James Cook. As it sits, Cook is the RB6 overall in fantasy at this point in the season. He’s been all but a lock so far, with only three games finishing outside the RB10 mark. I shouldn’t have to sway you much on him; he’s a big-time play this week and he really has been all year. The Bills keep giving him opportunities and more chances to break a big play. If you haven’t noticed, I am paying up this week for Cook. He will be expensive and taken early in DFS, but if you want the opportunity at the RB6 overall so far this season, then you’ll need to pull the trigger early.
Just another key point for James Cook this week, if you need any more: he takes on the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are atrocious against running backs, so atrocious that they’re ranked as the easiest matchup for fantasy running backs through 13 weeks. The running back position has scored 30.7 points on average per game against the Bengals, and is scoring nine points over their expected point total. Seems like a no-brainer this week, folks. James Cook will smash the Bengals.
Chase Brown (RB, Cincinnati Bengals)
Let’s keep it here with the Bills and Bengals game, since I really like this game this week. We’re focusing on the two backs in particular, but honestly, you could easily start many of these players in any fantasy football or DFS this week. But back to Chase Brown. With Joe Burrow back, you know that the offense will see an uptick in production. At least, that’s the hope. Brown had an extremely tough start to the 2025 season, but since Week 6, he has finished as the RB20 or better in every single game. Last week with Burrow back, Brown finished as the RB15. I expect his production to continue climbing the ladder.
The Bills aren’t quite as bad as the Bengals at defending the run, but they’re damn close. The Bengals have the chance to exploit the Bills’ defense, as they are the fourth-easiest matchup for the running back position. They’re allowing 24.3 points per game to running backs per week, and with an implied point total of 53.5, this game should be high scoring. That’s why you’re going to want pieces of this game, especially in the backfield, and Chase Brown is a great option.
Christian Watson (WR, Green Bay Packers)
His consistency is awful, and he has been hurt for the majority of the 2025 season. But Packers wide receiver Christian Watson is a player who can take the top off a defense and go absolutely nuclear. I think there’s a solid chance that happens on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. In the last three games, Watson has finished as the WR6, WR36 and WR13. But the more impressive stat is that Watson has totaled 22 targets in the last three weeks. Quarterback Jordan Love wants to get him the ball. He knows what Watson is capable of, and I think we find out why this weekend.
The Packers face off in a huge divisional game against the Chicago Bears, who not only lead the NFC North, they also sit atop the NFC standings. Wild, right? You know what isn’t wild, though? The Bears’ defense against the pass stinks. It’s not their fault, really, since their entire secondary has been hurt most of the season. Nevertheless, the opposing team is taking advantage of it. The Bears give up an average of 31.8 points per game to the wide receiver position. That’s the fourth-best matchup for fantasy wideouts. In a big game with big playoff implications, I think Jordan Love looks to his big-bodied receiver, Christian Watson, to break off some big plays.
Jakobi Meyers (WR, Jacksonville Jaguars)
Acquired via trade, wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has played well for the Jacksonville Jaguars. In two of four games, he’s finished inside the WR20. In both of those games, he had six targets, 50+ yards receiving, and a touchdown. Now this isn’t an endorsement to make him your WR1 in DFS this week. No, sir. But I think he’s a very high-end WR2 option. The Jaguars are fighting to stay on top of their division, and luckily for them and Meyers, the matchup is in their favor.
The Jaguars square off in a divisional bout against the Indianapolis Colts and both teams are tied for the lead in the AFC South. This game is huge, and as mentioned, the matchup bodes well for Meyers. The Colts do a lot of great things both offensively and defensively. But defending the pass is turning into an Achilles heel for the Colts. So far, it’s been a top-12 matchup for the wide receiver position, and I think the Jaguars continue to exploit it. The Colts are giving up 30.1 points per game to the wide receiver position, and so far Meyers has been reliable for quarterback Trevor Lawrence. With a plus matchup and gaining confidence with Lawrence, I think that Jakobi Meyers could have a great game.
Tyler Warren (TE, Indianapolis Colts)
We’re sticking here, folks! I like this Colts/Jaguars matchup and I like it a lot. The implied point total isn’t as high as the Bills/Bengals matchup, but this divisional game has major playoff implications. With that in mind, Tyler Warren is a smash play this week. I don’t need to get into too many details, but he’s been on fire most of the season. As it stands, he’s the TE4 overall through 13 weeks and isn’t looking back. The Colts and quarterback Daniel Jones love him. I know Jones is banged up, but it didn’t matter last week; Warren still found the endzone.
The Jaguars continue to disappoint when it comes to stopping tight ends. They’ll need to do their best this week if they want a chance at staying on top of the AFC South. But the truth is, they’re the second-best matchup for the position. With a very favorable matchup against the Jaguars, you need to have standout rookie tight end Tyler Warren in your lineup this week.
Zach Ertz (TE, Washington Commanders)
Look, he’s not flashy. He’s not young. He’s not fast. But he gets the job done. Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz is somehow staying very relevant for fantasy football and DFS even at the ripe old age of 35. He’s been a security blanket for both quarterbacks, Jayden Daniels and Marcus Mariota, throughout the season. Whether it’s Daniels or Mariota under center, I don’t think it matters much. Ertz is going to get his, and despite the one time he goose egged, he’s been averaging 8.3 points per game. He’s reliable, and he has a great matchup.
The Commanders are facing the Minnesota Vikings, a team I’ve targeted a lot this season. They are extremely excellent at defending the wide receiver position. So, who is the quarterback going to throw to when the wideouts aren’t open? You guessed it, the tight end, and in this case, that’s Zach Ertz. The Vikings also have the highest blitz rate in the NFL, meaning the Commanders aren’t going to have the time for long-developing plays. Look for Washington to dink-and-dunk to Zach Ertz a lot on Sunday. He may not get more than 55 yards, but he could very well end up with six receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.
