Tootsie’s Picks: NFL Week 18 PrizePicks Player Predictions (2023)

by Rachel (@tootsiepop6)

Well, we have arrived. It is Week 18 of the regular NFL season. There are teams fighting for playoff spots or seeding, and there are some teams who will be resting on their laurels as they’ve already clinched (of course not my Vikings, don’t be silly). I am rounding out the season at a hit rate of 50%. Thank you for riding with me for “Tootsie’s Picks” this season. I appreciate you. With so much on the line this week in the NFL, let’s dig in and find some juicy prop picks. Here are my best NFL Week 18 PrizePicks predictions.

NFL Week 18 PrizePicks Player Predictions

Josh Allen (QB, Buffalo Bills) Less Than 245.5 Passing Yards

In his last four games, quarterback Josh Allen has averaged 183.3 passing yards per game. Is he on a downward turn, or is he just having a bad string of luck? On the season, Allen has been straddling 50/50 on being over or under this line of 255.5.

The Buffalo Bills are up against the Miami Dolphins this week. Mike McDaniels’ team was just obliterated by the Ravens, and I expect them to come out guns blazing to redeem themselves. The Dolphins’ defense has allowed an average of 235.4 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks. This game will be high-octane on all fronts as both teams are vying to be crowned AFC East champs. I think Allen and the Bills will come up short against this embattled Dolphins team. I’m taking the under on the PrizePicks prop.

Kenneth Walker (RB, Seattle Seahawks) More Than 62.5 Rushing Yards

The Arizona Cardinals are the absolute worst defense against the run, allowing a crazy average of 119.8 rushing yards to opposing running backs. In his last foray against the Cardinals in Week 6, Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker produced an obscene 105 rushing yards on a whopping 26 carries. He’s averaging more than double the amount of rushing yards as his counterpart back Zach Charbonnet per game, so this line should be easy for Walker to surpass this week.

The Seahawks are still in the hunt for playoffs and have a chance to get in if they win and Green Bay loses. So, they’ll aim to use the horrid Arizona run defense to their advantage and let Walker tear up the ground game. Smash the over on this PrizePicks prop.

Chris Olave (WR, New Orleans Saints) More Than 63.5 Receiving Yards

In three out of his last five games, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave has exceeded 100 receiving yards. He is on a roll. Even though the Saints are up against the Atlanta Falcons, who allow only opposing receivers an average of 123.4 yards per game, there aren’t many receiving options on the Saints outside of Olave. He’s hit the over on this line of 63.5 eight out of 15 times this season, including the last time they faced the Falcons in Week 12 when he had 114 receiving yards.

It would take a few scenarios for the Saints to make the playoffs. So it’s a long shot, but don’t count them out yet. Look to see another big show from the former Ohio State Buckeye this week at home. Let’s ride the Olave train and take the over.

Remember, with any PrizePicks play, follow your gut on the lines you agree with. Always play responsibly. And always, always make sure you’re having fun with it!
