Check Your Waivers: Mainstream Fantasy Football Week 6 Waiver Wire Pickups

Let’s kick things off by exploring some mainstream Week 6 waiver wire targets. These players are drawing attention, but there’s still a chance to secure them for your roster:

In the Scope Targets: Top Fantasy Football Week 6 Free Agent Finds

Cade Otton (TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers) | 1.5% Rostered

Believe the hype of Baker Mayfield‘s resurgence. He ranks in the top half of the league in passing yards per game, boasts a top-seven completion percentage (69.5%), and sits at No. 8 among signal-callers in TD percentage (5.6) and QB Rating (101.7%).

While Cade Otton‘s target share is still developing, some uncertainty surrounds Mike Evans‘s status. Regardless, the former Washington Husky is no worse than the third receiving option on the team and is incredibly efficient. Otton is fifth among TEs in QB rating per target (113.6) and ranks ninth in fantasy points per target (1.79). This means Mayfield is finding success when targeting him. Otton also rarely comes off the field, sporting a 100% route participation, which leads all tight ends, and playing all 100% of the snaps in Week 4.

Coming off a bye, the Buccaneers have a favorable schedule with the third-best TE matchup against Detroit, followed by the second-best matchup against Atlanta. Don’t hesitate to grab Otton after the Week 6 waiver wire run.

Greg Dulcich (TE, Denver Broncos) | 8.4% Rostered

Greg Dulcich is ready to make a return, and he could be back as soon as Thursday against the Chiefs after being on Injured Reserve (IR) with a hamstring injury since Week 1.

He showcased promise in his brief Week 1 appearance, with two targets and two catches in just 21 snaps played. Last year, he finished as the PPR TE17 on a points-per-game basis, averaging 8.6. Among rookies, he was the best.

Kansas City presents a slightly-favorable matchup for TEs, and the Broncos need him. Chris Manhertz has played between 21-44% of snaps, and Adam Trautman has seen upwards of 90% of snaps but hasn’t delivered much. Denver’s game script is -8.12 (31st in the league), putting them in a trailing position more than almost any other team and necessitating more throws. Don’t overlook Dulcich’s potential impact.
