PrizePicks Player Predictions: Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Travis Kelce (TE, Kansas City Chiefs) MORE Than 0.5 Receiving TDs

Last season, Travis Kelce averaged 0.7 Touchdowns a game.  He is Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target on the offense, and let’s be honest, Kelce is a touchdown monster. In a home game in front of Chiefs Kingdom, I anticipate Kelce will have at least one touchdown celebration to show off to the fans and help cash PrizePicks slips.

Jared Goff (QB, Detroit Lions) MORE Than 254.5 Passing Yards

Last season, the Chiefs’ defense allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. They also allowed the eighth-most passing yards. In addition, Chiefs’ defensive lineman Chris Jones is currently holding out while seeking a contract extension.

To Jared Goff’s credit, last season, he averaged 261 passing yards a game. I expect to see coach Dan Campbell’s offense build upon last year’s momentum with a strong offensive showing, especially with star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown at the helm.

Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR, Detroit Lions) More Than 76.5 Receiving Yards

As I mentioned, I expect to see a strong offensive showing from the Detroit Lions, making most of the offense an advantageous Pizepicks play. The Chiefs defense allowed the fifth-most points to opposing wide receivers last year. St. Brown averaged 72.6 receiving yards per game. Coming into the season, the Lions won’t have receiver Jameson Williams due to a six-game suspension. In addition, rookie TE Sam LaPorta will just be getting up to speed. I look forward to a prominent showing from the “Sun God.”
