Did you survive the crazy Week 7 with multiple teams on byes and injuries continuing to stack up? There are zero byes this week. Let’s see what we can smash. Here are my best NFL Week 8 PrizePicks player predictions.

NFL Week 8 PrizePicks Player Predictions

Travis Etienne (RB, Jacksonville Jaguars) More Than 0.5 Passing, Rushing + Receiving TDS

In each of the last three games, Jacksonville running back Travis Etienne has scored two rushing touchdowns. He is on a roll with scoring for the Jaguars! “ETN SZN,” right? The Pittsburgh Steelers have allowed a rushing touchdown in four of six games on the season so far. I expect to see Etienne’s touchdown success continue. He should see at least one score this week. Let’s take the over on this PrizePicks prop.

Kirk Cousins (QB, Minnesota Vikings) More Than 1.5 Passing TDs

Quarterback Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings unexpectedly beat the San Francisco 49ers this past Monday. And it was a primetime game. As a Vikings fan, I still haven’t wrapped my head around it. Did you see that amazing touchdown by Jordan Addison? I honestly had chills watching it. Coming off that high of a game, the Vikings face the divisional rival Green Bay Packers. The Packers are a tough defense against passing touchdowns. That said, Cousins is averaging 2.3 passing touchdowns a game this season. The Vikings need to follow up last week’s win with another victory here. I expect Cousins to throw at least two passing touchdowns in Week 8.

George Pickens (WR, Pittsburgh Steelers) More Than 54.5 Receiving Yards

Pittsburgh Steelers’ top receiver, George Pickens, is averaging 83.3 receiving yards per game this season. Fun fact:  His receiving yards on the season equal exactly 500 yards. There’s gotta be magic in that. Don’t you agree? The Jacksonville Jaguars are allowing 172.4 receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers. Pickens tends to fare better in home games, and the Steelers are in Pittsburgh this week. This line of 54.5 receiving yards is low. Pickens likely surpasses this PrizePicks line.
