Week 12 NFL DFS Picks & Lineup Advice (2025) | FastDraft Flex Six Frenzy

by James Danielson

Hard to believe it, but we are down to the final seven weeks of the NFL regular season. How come it seems like we wait for centuries during the offseason for the NFL to return, and when it does, it goes by in the blink of an eye? It doesn’t seem fair, right? DFS has been a challenge at times this season, which is somewhat the norm year in and out, but I feel as though you’ve all adapted well to the injury plague and crushed your lineups. So, how about we step into Week 12 and do it again! Time to pick some players to help build a week-winning DFS or FastDraft Flex Six Frenzy lineup!

Week 12 NFL “FastDraft Flex Six Frenzy” Lineup Advice (2025) | NFL DFS Picks

TreVeyon Henderson (RB, New England Patriots)

TreVeyon Henderson loyalists rejoice! It finally happened! It may have taken nine weeks, but we finally got the long-awaited breakout of rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson. Those nine weeks were really tough, having been forced to wait impatiently, but we were rewarded handsomely in Weeks 10 and 11. You have to think that with Henderson turning in back-to-back RB4 overall performances, New England Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel will give him the keys. Or at least let him drive the car more often than he did in comparison to Rhamondre Stevenson. The last two weeks have been a thing of beauty, tallying up a collective 209 yards on the ground, four rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown. We all believed, we all hoped this would come and we all are juiced about it.

Enter Week 12, and the Patriots head to Cincinnati to take on a Bengals’ rush defense that is a running back’s best friend. Quite literally, if I’m being honest. Henderson will get to bare his teeth against a defense that ranks dead last against the running back position, allowing them to score 32.8 points per game. The Patriots are heavy 7.5-point favorites in this game, with an implied point total of 50.5. I expect the Patriots to get up early, and once it’s out of hand, they’ll hand the rock to the rookie back to stick a nail in the coffin. You might not even have to wait; if they keep getting TreVeyon Henderson involved in the passing game, this might be a recipe for him to finish the week as the RB1 overall.

Alvin Kamara (RB, New Orleans Saints)

Before you scroll on because Alvin Kamara has been putrid this season, I need you to hear me out. Prior to their bye week in Week 11, Kamara had a pretty solid game against the Carolina Panthers. In that match, he saw the second-most opportunities in a game this season, which was 25. He also finished with 83 yards rushing, his second-highest total this season. Keep reading. Kamara also finished with 32 receiving yards on three catches, his second-best of this season as well. All of that helped Kamara finish as the RB17 overall and the New Orleans Saints won. Perhaps they finally figured out that if they get the veteran running back involved, they can actually win games.

The better news comes here. With a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, there is almost always room for a successful fantasy game when it comes to running backs. They were featured in this article last week and make yet another appearance. The Falcons tend to be a back-and-forth defense; you never know who will show up. But odds are good that they’ll be as bad as their ranking. The Falcons consistently fail to stop the run, and they’re the fifth-easiest matchup for fantasy running backs. If the Saints want to win, I’ll trust that they’ve figured it out and Alvin Kamara will be heavily involved. If you’re not too keen on the pick, consider throwing him in a flex position and spending up on one of the top running backs, but I believe he is going to be just fine.

DeVonta Smith (WR, Philadelphia Eagles)

Two things to start. First, DeVonta Smith had a god-awful performance last week, finishing with only one catch for eight yards. I know, gross. Second, the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense might be the most boring offense in the league, considering the amount of talent on that roster. Not making a great case, am I? But hear me out. The Eagles do this because they’re winning games in that fashion. They’re slowing it down, playing tough defense and eliminating the big play from opposing offenses. So why DeVonta Smith? Perhaps I can interest you in the Dallas Cowboys defense.

The Cowboys’ defense, as you all know by now, is one of the best defenses to target in fantasy football. Even with a “decent” showing this past week against the Las Vegas Raiders, I don’t trust it. They’re a funnel of offensive production, and they’re still allowing wide receivers to score 34 fantasy points per game. I know Smith had a rough outing this last week, but the Eagles are going to open it up on the Cowboys. You don’t look at a defense, see how embarrassing it has been all season and not decide to open the floodgates. You just don’t. DeVonta Smith game incoming, book it.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR, Seattle Seahawks)

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been on an absolute tear this season. In ten games, he has only finished outside the WR13 once, and that was a game in which he finished as the WR26 with 76 yards receiving. He also has five top-five fantasy finishes on a team that no one thought would be as good as they are. He’s an absolute stud, and the Seahawks will continue to roll with “JSN” this weekend.

After taking a beating from the Los Angeles Rams this past week, the Seahawks are looking to rebound against the Tennessee Titans. Lucky for them, the Titans are not a good team at all, and their defense is a backbone of disaster. Smith-Njigba gets to take on a Titans secondary that doesn’t mind if you blow them up in the passing game. With a ranking as the ninth-best matchup for fantasy wide receivers, it’s quite easy to see why he makes this list. Quarterback Sam Darnold will look to brush off his four-interception game and most likely turn to Jaxon Smith-Njigba for some help.

Travis Kelce (TE, Kansas City Chiefs)

Don’t look now, but the Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes connection is heating up. Tight end Travis Kelce has always been a favorite target for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, but up until Week 8, we hadn’t seen those big blowup games we got so used to. Well, since Week 8, Travis Kelce is averaging six receptions, 85 yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game. I believe the connection is just getting started, and I fully believe that it will continue this week.

In a must-win game for the Chiefs against an Indianapolis Colts team that has the second-best record in the AFC, Mahomes and Kelce’s magic is going to come to life once again. It’s not just because they’ve been on fire the last three games, either, as they will be facing a Colts defense that allows 13.9 points per game to the tight end position. Considering Travis Kelce is averaging 16.3 points per game the last three weeks, I’d like to think he blows that Colts average up.

Chig Okonkwo (TE, Tennessee Titans)

This one is 100% a dart throw, but it’s one I believe in. If you are unfamiliar with Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo, here’s what you need to know. He’s a 6’3″, 238-pound tight end who has great hands and the ability to gain yards after the catch. Is he on an awful football team? Yes. Is rookie Cam Ward not a good quarterback? Yes. Will the Titans get shellacked? Yes. But I don’t care. SOMEONE on this team has to score with wide receiver Calvin Ridley gone for the season due to a broken fibula. Okonkwo has flashed, and last week he finished as the TE11 after Ridley went down.

The boost to my dart is that the Seattle Seahawks are very forgiving to fantasy tight ends this year. They currently rank as the fourth-best matchup for the position, allowing them to score 13.8 points per game. As a defense that prides itself in covering the wideout position and does OK against the run, I assume they’re going to leave big man Chig Okonkwo open. If that truly is the case, he’s a great sneaky play. He’s a budget tight end in DFS pricing, he’s got a good matchup and the Titans stink at throwing downfield. Let’s go, Okonkwo!
