In the Scope Targets: Top Fantasy Football Week 15 Free Agent Finds
Now, let’s focus on the under-the-radar players who could make an impact as we head to the season’s knockout stages.
Tucker Kraft (TE, Green Bay Packers) | 2.4% Rostered
Emerging as a dynamic playmaker and a reliable target for Jordan Love, Tucker Kraft has been running nearly all the snaps in the last three weeks, boasting an impressive 96%-95%-100% snap count progression. He saw a 17.1% target share in Week 13 and followed it up by catching all four of his targets for 64 yards in Week 14 against the Giants.
Facing Tampa Bay this week, a top-five matchup for tight ends over the last month, Kraft is positioned for another solid performance. If you’re still streaming the tight end position, consider adding him after the Week 15 waiver wire clears.
Tommy DeVito (QB, New York Giants) | 3.8% Rostered
Riding a wave of positive momentum, Tommy DeVito has captivated the city of New York, reminiscent of former New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin in 2012. After taking the NFL world by storm, he is actually an intriguing fantasy football option, especially in superflex leagues and potentially even in 12-team, 1QB leagues in Weeks 16 and 17.
The Giants face favorable matchups in Week 16 against the Eagles (the best matchups for QBs this season and the past month) and in Week 17 against the Rams (the fifth-best matchup over the past month). If DeVito continues to perform well, he could be a worthwhile addition for fantasy managers needing quarterback depth.
In his four starts, DeVito has consistently delivered fantasy points, finishing as the QB18, QB7, QB25 and QB16. With a minimal interception count and a new knack for running, DeVito offers both a high floor and an adequate ceiling, making him a calculated gamble for teams in need of a quarterback boost. Consider adding him after the Week 15 waiver wire runs and monitoring his performance against the Saints. If he proves his worth, he could be a valuable asset for the critical playoff weeks.
Fantasy football is supposed to be fun. What would be more fun than riding with DeVito off into the sunset a champion?
