2024 Hollywood Casino 400 Betting Picks: Outrights
Kyle Larson (+330)
The odds are ridiculously short this week on Kyle Larson at a +330 DraftKings outright price. But that number comes for good reason, as Kansas is one of Larson’s best tracks.
The California native has a pair of wins in the Sunflower State and has been no worse than P8 here since 2021. He’s led at least 29 laps in seven of the last eight at Kansas, leading 60 or more in six of those. He’s earned T5s 42% of the time and has been T10 in 58% of Kansas races.
Larson running up front would be the least surprising outcome this weekend; you may as well take some small profit from it.
Christopher Bell (+900)
This time of year is when Christopher Bell is traditionally at his best. At a +900 outright, the No. 20 is an attractive option this week. Bell has been red hot lately, finishing T6 in six of the last seven oval races in the Cup Series.
As for Kansas, Bell hasn’t won here but has been the pole sitter in three of the last five races. He’s finished P8 and P6 in the most recent pair of races and has three additional Kansas T10s.
Chris Buescher (+1800)
Looking for revenge from the spring race, Chris Buescher at +1800 on DraftKings is my spoiler of the week.
His Kansas stats haven’t been spectacular; his runner-up finish in the spring was his first lead lap finish there since 2021. But he’s led laps in a pair of other Kansas races, including with JTG Daugherty Racing in 2019.
Buescher has four T10s at Kansas and four T10s in the last six Cup races, including his Watkins Glen victory.
