2025 Supplemental Draft Targets | Devy Fantasy Football

Sophomore Standouts To Watch

by Phil Cartlich

For Devy fantasy football managers, the supplemental draft is an excellent opportunity to acquire talented under-the-radar players who may have been overlooked in last year’s drafts.

While elite prospects like Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith and Alabama’s Ryan Williams were heavily rostered as incoming freshmen, several second-year players remain available and could provide significant value. This year’s crop of sophomore Devy targets is particularly rich at running back, as many top receivers were already selected last season in supplemental drafts.

Below, I’ll highlight five College Football players who have the potential to break out and become valuable assets in Devy fantasy football leagues.

2025 Supplemental Draft Targets | Devy Fantasy Football

Caden Durham (RB, LSU)

Cade Durham is a speedster with track-star acceleration, having posted a 10.25-second 100-meter dash time in high school. The former four-star recruit brings a home-run threat element to LSU’s backfield.

In his freshman season, Durham showcased his explosive playmaking ability, taking the lead job from presumed starter Kaleb Jackson and rushing for 753 yards on 140 carries while adding 260 receiving yards on 28 receptions.

His game-changing speed makes him an early-round Devy must in supplemental drafts, especially in Points Per Reception (PPR) leagues where his potential for long receptions adds value.

Isaac Brown (RB, Louisville)

A dynamic back with elite lateral agility, Isaac Brown was a deep sleeper in the 2023 class. However, he made the most of his opportunity to shine in Louisville’s offense last year after injury to Maurice Turner.

He emerged as a key contributor for the Cardinals, finishing with 1,173 rushing yards and 11 TDs on 165 carries. Like Durham, he also contributed as a receiver with 30 receptions for 152 yards and a TD.,

At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, he has the shiftiness to make defenders miss in space. He shows the burst to turn short gains into big plays. His explosive skill set translates well to the NFL, making him a wise investment for Devy managers.

Nick Marsh (WR, Michigan State)

One of the few receivers from this class still widely available in Devy drafts, Nick Marsh is a big-bodied target (6-foot-3 and 210 pounds) with strong hands and an impressive catch radius. He plays with physicality and can win contested catches, making him a potential red-zone weapon.

In his freshman season, Marsh had 649 yards on 41 receptions for the Spartans, including a monster performance against Maryland. He recorded 194 yards on eight receptions and logged a season-long 77 TD catch.

While Michigan State’s passing game has been inconsistent, Marsh has the opportunity to establish himself as a household name at receiver in 2025. If he produces solid numbers again this season, his Devy stock could rise significantly. He could make an immediate profit for managers who take a chance on him before the breakout.

Jadan Baugh (RB, Florida)

A versatile athlete with a thick frame (6-foot-1 and 230 pounds), Baugh brings power, vision and underrated receiving ability to Florida’s backfield. He has the size to handle a workhorse role but also the skill set to contribute as a receiver. This makes him a desirable Devy asset.

Baugh had competition in the Gators’ backfield last season. However, his talent and versatility earned him increased touches as the season progressed. Against Kentucky, Baugh tied a school record five rushing touchdowns while rushing for 106 yards against the Wildcats. The four-star recruit went on to finish the season with 673 yards from 133 carries, logging big performances in SEC play.

He looks like he has star potential and could develop into a three-down back at the next level. That’s something Devy managers should always be on the lookout for.

Caleb Odom (WR/TE, Ole Miss)

A true hybrid receiving threat, Caleb Odom is listed as a tight end but has the athleticism of a wide receiver. At 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, he’s a mismatch nightmare who can line up all over the field. Frustrated with his limited use in the Crimson Tide’s offense last season,  Odom exercised his right to enter the transfer portal in December.

Odom had only seven receptions for 65 yards in 2024, so this is a big projection. Still, Ole Miss has a strong passing game, and Odom could thrive in Lane Kiffin’s offense as a red-zone threat and dynamic playmaker.

There are plenty of vacated targets at wide receiver with Tre Harris and Antwane “Juice” Wells Jr. entering the NFL Draft. Odom has the talent to make a role for himself. If he adds weight and develops as a blocker, he could follow the modern trend of athletic tight ends making a fantasy impact.

Equally, he could find a home at wide receiver. That versatility should appeal to Devy managers in the later rounds of their supplemental draft.

Final Devy Supplemental Draft Tips

The 2023 recruiting class had some big names that were already rostered in Devy leagues. The 2027 draft class is looking incredibly strong. Hence, there’s still plenty of value in this sophomore group.

Whether it’s the explosive upside of Durham, the physical dominance of Baugh or the hybrid potential of Odom, these players have the talent to rise up Devy rankings in the coming years.

Let others overdraft incoming freshmen in a weak high school recruiting class (particularly at wide receiver). You should target these second-year gems in your supplemental draft.
