Devy Fantasy Football Winners Following Transfer Portal Moves (2025)

by Phil Cartlich

The College Football transfer portal has once again shaken up the landscape. It gives several players fresh opportunities to rebuild their Devy stock. For Devy fantasy football managers, tracking these moves is crucial, as they can significantly impact future NFL Draft value.

This offseason, three high-profile transfers stand out as players on whom you should stock up in fantasy football: Carson Beck, Justice Haynes and Kevin Concepcion. Each of them needed a change of scenery, and their new situations put them in a position to thrive.

Carson Beck (QB, Miami)

Carson Beck’s decision to leave Georgia for Miami comes after a tough 2024 season, one that saw his NFL Draft stock take a significant hit. Once viewed as a potential first-rounder, Beck struggled with consistency and ultimately decided to return to school rather than enter the 2025 NFL Draft.

Miami offers the 22-year-old a fresh start in a more quarterback-friendly offense that will allow him to showcase his skills. With a talented supporting cast and a strong offensive line, Beck has the opportunity to bounce back and prove himself as one of the top quarterback prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft class. If he can put up big numbers in Miami’s system, his Devy fantasy football value will rebound significantly.

Justice Haynes (RB, Michigan)

Justice Haynes was a highly-touted recruit coming into Alabama. However, he found himself stuck in a log jam and grew tired of waiting for his opportunity. His Devy stock took a hit when fellow back Jamarion Miller returned, limiting his path to a lead role. Instead of waiting for a potential breakout, Haynes made a smart move to Michigan, where he will step into a much better opportunity.

With Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards heading to the 2025 NFL Draft, there are plenty of vacated touches in the Wolverines’ backfield. Michigan will also be breaking in a new quarterback, five-star freshman Bryce Underwood. This should make the 20-year-old transfer a likely focal point of the offense. His skill set fits Michigan’s physical running game perfectly, and he should see a major workload right away. This move puts Haynes firmly back on the Devy fantasy football radar as a potential future top running back in the NFL.

Kevin Concepcion (WR, Texas A&M)

After a standout freshman season at NC State, Kevin Concepcion hit a sophomore slump in his second year. The 20-year-old receiver hit the transfer portal and landed at Texas A&M, which puts him in a much better position to elevate his Devy fantasy football stock. Despite flashing elite talent, he was stuck in an inconsistent NC State offense with limited quarterback play.

Now, at Texas A&M, he has the opportunity to thrive in a system that should allow him to highlight his full skill set. The Aggies desperately needed a playmaker at receiver, and Concepcion steps into a situation where he should see plenty of targets right away. His speed, route running and ability to create plays after the catch make him an ideal fit for the offense. With better talent around him and a more stable offensive structure, Concepcion has a real chance to establish himself as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft class.

Bottom Line

The transfer portal can be a make-or-break experience for Devy prospects, and these three players have landed themselves in positions to improve their stock significantly. Beck gets a fresh start at Miami to rebuild his draft value. Haynes steps into a lead-back role at Michigan, and Kevin Concepcion moves to a bigger stage to shine at Texas A&M.

For Devy managers, these are three names to watch closely as they enter pivotal seasons in their development. If they capitalize on their new opportunities, their NFL futures and fantasy football values will rise.
