Here we are, week 10. Quarterback streamers are getting tougher to find. Four teams are on bye for this week. However, if you need a quarterback this week, we can find one.
Each week, we will be looking at players who are rostered in 40% or fewer leagues using ESPN data. Let’s see who is available and ready to bust the ceiling for your week 10 matchup.
Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamers: Week 10 (2023)
Joshua Dobbs (QB, Minnesota Vikings) 16.4% Rostered
One of the best stories of the 2023 NFL season is Joshua Dobbs. The 2017 fourth-round pick should be getting frequent flyers miles with all the traveling he’s done this season. From Cleveland to Arizona and finally Minnesota, he’s been almost everywhere. Only five days with the Vikings and looking to be a backup on his first game, Dobbs found himself in a familiar position. Looking at a new playbook and the starting quarterback out of the game, it was his time to shine. Dobbs completed 20 of 30 passes for 158 yards, two touchdowns and two fumbles. He also added seven carries for 66 yards and one touchdown. He finished the day with 24.9 fantasy points.
The New Orleans Saints travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings in week 10. The Saints are giving up 202 passing yards and 13.9 fantasy points per game to the position. Dobbs has been a great story so far for this season. However, there are a few more chapters to be written and act two starts now.
Derek Carr (QB, New Orleans Saints) 34.9% Rostered
You might not like my Dobbs pick for week 10. Therefore, let’s give you another quarterback steamer and turn the page to Derek Carr. Carr completed 25 of 34 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns, totaling 16.7 fantasy points in Week 9. Over the last three weeks, Chris Olave has had a 31.1% target share, and Alvin Kamara has had a 23.3% target share.
As mentioned, the Saints travel to Minnesota for this Week 10 matchup. The Vikings give up an average of 240 passing yards and 16.6 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position. Through the last two games, Carr has had a 70% completion percentage and has not had less than 16 fantasy points per game over the last four games. This might be one of the last weeks to grab Carr in your league; don’t let opportunities like this pass.
Kyler Murray (QB, Arizona Cardinals) 35.6% Rostered
It’s been almost a year since Kyler Murray suffered a torn ACL against the New England Patriots, and Week 10 will be his first game back. Most weekly rankers have him inside the top 12, however, his mobility is still something to see. As of right now, it looks like he will get the start, but keep your eye on his situation. Since his injury, the Cardinals have changed coaching staffs and schemes, so look for a period of adjustment off the rip. One of his favorite targets is still there, Marquise Brown. Over the last three games, Brown has seen a 27% target share. Also coming into the fold is rookie Trey McBride, who has seen a 28.1% target share over the last three contests.
The Atlanta Falcons are coming to town for this Week 10 showdown. The Falcons allow an average of 210 passing yards and 18.4 fantasy points to the quarterback position. Don’t look for Murray to set any new records, but expect him to take a few slow steps back into his old self, a top-10 fantasy football quarterback.
