by Stacey Cochran

The NFL season is picking up speed, and Week 4 is ready to roll! Week 3 had some quarterbacks step up, and some take a step back. However, that just means there are more opportunities for streaming a quarterback this week. Matchups are key when it comes to streaming; that’s especially the secret behind quarterback streamers. For Week 4, we have three quarterbacks that we feel will be top plays for the week.

Each week, I will be looking at players who are rostered in 40% or fewer leagues using ESPN data. Let’s dive in and take a look at our favorite quarterback streamers for Week 4!

Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamers: Week 4 (2023)

Kenny Pickett (QB, Pittsburgh Steelers) | 26.2% Rostered

Now in his second year, Kenny Pickett is a quarterback who has a lot of high hopes hanging on him. The Steelers fan base is ready to return to a Super Bowl, and Pickett is the one they are betting on getting them there. In Week 3, Pickett and the Steelers traveled to Las Vegas to play the Raiders. He completed 16 of 28 passes and threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns in a Sunday night victory, finishing the day with 18.5 fantasy points.

Diontae Johnson is still on the Injury Reserve (IR) list. However, George Pickens is becoming a wide receiver that Pickett trusts. He leads the team with a 22.8% target share. Moving forward, look for the chemistry to keep growing between these two.

The Steelers travel to Houston to take on the Texans in Week 4, and the Texans are giving up an average of 228 passing yards and 16.7 fantasy points to the quarterback position per game. The Steelers had a great preseason, but got off to a rocky start in the regular season. However, look for Mike Tomlin to right the ship and keep it going that way.

C.J. Stroud (QB, Houston Texans) | 11.3% Rostered

When it comes to drafting a quarterback, it takes two key elements: scouting and luck! I can’t begin to tell you how the Houston Texans scout. But I can tell you they might have hit the lottery in C.J. Stroud, who makes our list of quarterback streamers for the second consecutive week. He is turning heads and playing with a confidence that not many rookies have. In just his third game, Stroud threw 20 for 30 passes, 280 yards and two touchdowns, racking up 20.6 fantasy points against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Add in his rookie wide receiver Tank Dell, and this pair might have one of those special relationships that teams hope for.

The Texans will be taking on the Steelers, who have given up an average of 259 passing yards per game and 15.6 fantasy points to the quarterback position. The Texans’ offensive line better be ready for T.J. Watt and company coming to town. This will be a game to watch, with a lot of future stars emerging.

Andy Dalton (QB, Carolina Panthers) | 0.6% Rostered

This is a situation to monitor closely. Depending on Bryce Young‘s ankle injury, Andy Dalton might be one of the top quarterback streamers for you. Dalton completed 34 of 58 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns to DJ Chark and Adam Thielen. “The Red Rifle” had a great day against the Seattle Seahawks, finishing with 23.5 fantasy points.

The Minnesota Vikings come to town trying to bounce back from a heart-wrenching loss on Sunday. The Vikings are giving up an average of 257 passing yards and 23.5 fantasy points to the quarterback position per game . It will be a shootout in Carolina, with Kirk Cousins against Dalton. Let’s see who blinks first.

We have just three quarterbacks listed for Week 4, but several more are available. Take time and check out more at ESPN.com or your league’s platform. Good luck with your quarterback streamers and all your Week 4 matchups!
