2024 NASCAR All-Star Open Betting Picks

Josh Berry (+800)

The NASCAR All-Star Open has a few top-tier cars and drivers in it, but all around, I’m almost as excited about Josh Berry’s +800 number as I am about Kyle Larson’s in the big show.

Ford is starting to figure out its speed, and Berry is coming off a season-best P3 at Darlington, a driver’s track like North Wilkesboro. In the ultra-high tire wear Bristol race, the No. 4 led 25 laps but ultimately finished P12 – still impressive enough for kudos in this situation.

Berry also won last year’s All-Star Open, but keep in mind that was in the Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) No. 48. Regardless, Berry’s roots and driving style fit together with a track like North Wilkesboro like mashed potatoes and gravy.

Ryan Preece (+900)

Keeping with the Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) and Ford theme, Ryan Preece is a potential longshot winner in the Open. Motivation certainly plays a factor here, as silly season rumors have swirled heavily around Preece, but the short track also plays right into his wheelhouse.

He’s impressed at the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum, running competitively with a Rick Ware Racing car before you could put those two things in a sentence together. The No. 41 also led 43 laps in the 2023 Clash and was P4 in last year’s All-Star Open here. Those are good enough numbers to take a peek at the +900 on DraftKings.
