Somebody snapped their fingers, and the NFL season is down to its last four weeks of the regular season. This means that your playoffs are about to start this week in most fantasy football leagues. Congrats to those who made it! To those who didn’t, there’s always next season. It also means that the end of NFL DFS contests is coming.
So what better way to finish than strong and on top? Let’s get to work in Week 15.

Week 15 NFL DFS Picks & Lineup Advice (2024)
Quarterback
Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins) | $6,100
I’m not sure what is happening in Miami with Tua Tagovailoa, but he has been on fire over the last five weeks. Since Week 10, Tagovailoa has been the QB1. In this stretch, he has scored 132.9 points, a solid average of 26.6 points per game. Whatever it is, he has clicked with his position players, and it’s working. Considering Bills QB Josh Allen has been resetting history, the fact Tagovailoa is on top during this stretch is even more impressive.
This week, the Dolphins face off against the Houston Texans, who are in the bottom-third of allowing fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The Texans allow a decent 18 points per game and have been struggling. With the passing attack firing in Miami, expect similar results from Tagovailoa, who is the 11th-cheapest option for NFL DFS lineups on DraftKings.
Running Back
Chuba Hubbard (Carolina Panthers) | $6,500
The last man standing in Carolina is the ever-reliable Chuba Hubbard. The former Oklahoma State Cowboys is now the only back in Carolina with the unfortunate injury to rookie Jonathon Brooks, who re-tore his ACL he just returned from last week. This means the bulk of the work will return to Hubbard. The Panthers have looked much better on offense the last month, and this team runs through Hubbard.
They go up against the Cowboys this week. While Dallas is looking better of late, they still stink against running backs, currently allowing 23.9 fantasy points per game to the position. That is a massive point total. Then factor in Hubbard as the lone back, and you’re looking at a pretty promising output come Sunday.
Wide Receiver
Terry McLaurin (Washington Commanders) | $7,200
Time to spend up. Hot off the terribly placed week 14 bye (thanks, NFL schedule-makers), McLaurin and company hit the field in New Orleans. There’s nothing like a week off to rest up and study the team you play next a little extra. The Commanders haven’t been as reliable right before the break, but that should change here. Quarterback Jayden Daniels has unlocked McLaurin. The two have a solid connection, and Daniels loves to target him. In their last five games, McLaurin has five total touchdowns. A few of them are multi-touchdown games, enough to break the slate.
The matchup? It’s a chef’s kiss for McLaurin. The New Orleans Saints are bottom-10 against the wide receiver position, allowing an average of 30.3 points per game. If you’re looking for someone with a great matchup and the ability to have a multi-score game this week, it’s McLaurin.
Tight End
Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals) | $6,000
Typically, this article doesn’t recommend spending up on the tight end position. This week, it’s time to go against that grain. It’s tough to argue with the production that Trey McBride has been putting out weekly. He’s an absolute target hog. McBride has received an astonishing total of 41 targets in these last three weeks, turning that into 31 receptions and 299 yards. Yes, McBride hasn’t caught a touchdown yet this season, but I think it’s happening this week.
Now, the matchup isn’t perfect. The New England Patriots, as terrible as they’ve been, are middle-of-the-pack against tight ends. Still, with McBride accumulating targets at this rate, it doesn’t matter. Quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. are way off in their fluidness, leaving McBride as the unquestioned No. 1 target in Arizona. This is the week to pay up on McBride for your NFL DFS lineup.
Defense/Special Teams
Cincinnati Bengals D/ST | $3,500
The Bengals are not the cheapest D/ST this week, but they’re certainly not the most expensive. Cincinnati is still in the playoff hunt. We know that the Bengals offense can get it done. The defense, on the other hand, has struggled this year to stop opposing teams. They really need to see it step up to keep that playoff push alive., beginning this week.
They’ve been better lately, recording interceptions and multiple sacks in each of their last two games. They also now face a Tennessee Titans team that may or may not be without starting quarterback Will Levis. Even if he plays, Levis loves to be aggressive and takes a ton of sacks.
