2024 USA TODAY 301 Prop Bet of the Week
Ty Gibbs: Top-10 Finish (-125)
Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) owned this race last year, as Martin Truex Jr found victory lane. Three out of the top four favorites to win this race early in the week come from JGR in Martin Truex Jr, Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell. However, it’s the other JGR teammate that I have my eye on.
Ty Gibbs ran great in practice here last year. They unloaded the car fast and showed great short-run speed. I believe that they will unload with the same short run speed that they did last year, which should transfer to a good qualifying session. Whether we get qualifying in remains to be seen, as there is forecasting to be rain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at this point in the week.
The No. 54 team has continued to find speed this year. They’ve had top-10 speed on many occasions this year and have shot themselves in the foot. I think the combination of good starting track position, speed and running a clean race will land Gibbs inside of the top 10 when they take the checkered flag at the 2024 USA TODAY 301.
