Between Bets: NFL Futures | 2024 Season-Long Player Props & Awards
- Marvin Harrison Jr. To Win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+700)
- CeeDee Lamb – Most Regular-Season Receiving Yards (+700)
- Derrick Henry Over 999.5 Rushing Yards (+110)
Marvin Harrison Jr. To Win Offensive Rookie of the Year (+700)
Marvin Harrison Jr. enters the NFL with high expectations, landing in Arizona as a top prospect. Paired with a solid quarterback in Kyler Murray, Harrison Jr. is poised to take on a true alpha role in the Cardinals’ offense. Wide receivers have found success in the Offensive Rookie of the Year (OROY) race recently, with Garrett Wilson and Ja’Marr Chase winning the award in two of the last three years and Puka Nacua finishing second last season.
Given Harrison Jr.’s elite talent and the trend favoring wide receivers, the +700 odds present a valuable opportunity. While Caleb Williams (+135) is the heavy favorite, he may need to lead the Bears to the playoffs to secure the award, adding a layer of uncertainty. With this context, Harrison Jr. at 7-1 feels like a strong bet for a unit.
CeeDee Lamb – Most Regular-Season Receiving Yards (+700)
CeeDee Lamb is set for a massive role in the Dallas Cowboys’ offense this season. After losing key players like Tony Pollard and significant changes on the offensive line, Lamb remains the focal point in a pass-catching group that includes Brandin Cooks, Jake Ferguson, and Jalen Tolbert.
Lamb led the league last year in targets (181) and receptions (135), finishing second in receiving yards (1,749) and third in touchdowns (12). With Dallas facing a challenging schedule that includes high-powered offenses such as Baltimore, Detroit and San Francisco, expect the Cowboys to rely heavily on Lamb to keep pace in high-scoring games. At +700, Lamb is a solid bet for the most receiving yards this season.
Derrick Henry Over 999.5 Rushing Yards (+110)
While player over/unders can be risky due to sharp lines and juiced odds, Derrick Henry’s line offers a compelling case. Last season, Henry rushed for 1,167 yards despite sharing the workload with Tyjae Spears in Tennessee. With no comparable competition in Baltimore’s backfield and Lamar Jackson drawing defensive attention, Henry is in an excellent position to surpass 1,000 yards.
Henry has been a top-two rusher in the NFL for his four past seasons when healthy and surpassed 1,000 yards in his last five healthy seasons. He also nearly reached 1,000 yards in 2021 (937) despite playing only eight games. Given his durability (missing just three games in seven years), betting a heavy amount of units on Henry to exceed 999.5 rushing yards is a strategic move.
