Tootsie’s Picks: NFL Week 2 Underdog Pick’Em Predictions

by Rachel (@tootsiepop6)

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are two teams from the highly contested AFC East division with high-volume offenses. Coming into Thursday night, the two sit with a 1-0 record. That will all change when they meet. Only one can reign superior and win the night, and only one will walk away 2-0.

The affair between these two teams should be high-scoring, with Vegas setting the total at 49 points. In a quick “Thursday Two-Fer” snapshot, I am here to offer up a pair of my favorite NFL Underdog Pick’Em predictions for this island game.

NFL Week 2 Underdog Pick’Em Predictions

James Cook (RB, Buffalo Bills) HIGHER Than 19.5 Receiving Yards

In six out of his last 10 games, James Cook hit the over on this line of 19.5 receiving yards. In Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals, Cook had 32 receiving yards. With the absence of Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis this season, there is more receiving opportunity for Cook. Go all-in on this Underdog Pick’Em for Cook.

Tua Tagovailoa (QB, Miami Dolphins) HIGHER Than 33.5 Passing Attempts

With the absence of Raheem Mostert and possibly De’Von Achane, Tua Tagovailoa will likely have to pass more instead of relying on the run game. In Week 1, he had 37 passing attempts against the Jacksonville Jaguars. With receiver options in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Tagovailoa’s arm will get a workout Thursday night. Smash this over on this Underdog Pick’Em.

Sit back and enjoy this high octane game between the Bills and Dolphins this Thursday night. Who will steal away with the 2-0 record at the end of the match? Who are you rooting for?
