2024 Brickyard 400 Prop Bet of the Week
Denny Hamlin: Top-3 Finish (+110)
NASCAR returns to the big oval for the Brickyard 400. This track type will require both a combination of speed and handling. The odds are short on some of the drivers that I expect to have both. Given the nature of this sport and the unforeseen issues that can occur during a race, I don’t recommend placing a large wager on this number. Although the price isn’t the greatest, I do think it has a better chance of cashing than any other bet on the board. I would rather place this wager than take a flyer at a larger number.
Denny Hamlin has multiple wins on the year. He’s had the best car at many tracks this year, including last week at Pocono, a close comparison to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He traded stage two points for track position, and it ultimately wound up costing him the win. There’s a chance that this number could get better after practice and qualifying, but I’m willing to bite here. I believe when all is said and done, he will have a top-three car and be contending for the win.
