John Deere Classic 2024 Prop Bet of the Week
Sam Stevens: Top-10 Finish (+450)
It’s safe to say that another birdie fest is in store this week as the PGA Tour heads to TPC Deere Run for the John Deere Classic. This par-71 course is unique in that it calls for accuracy off the tee and the ability to make birdies in bunches.
Sam Stevens has been doing a lot of that lately. After finding the short grass off of the tee, it’s important to shape the golf ball into these hole locations and create birdie opportunities. Stevens currently ranks 34th on Tour in ball striking and 47th in birdie average in 2024. He trends further up as you consider that many players ranked ahead of him in these areas won’t be attending this event.
The 27-year-old will turn 28 on Independence Day and is having the best season of his career. In 18 events, he has grabbed seven T25 finishes and three T10s, with two of those T10s coming in his last four starts. His game is trending in the right direction, and I think we are catching a great price on him at the right time.
