The FedEx Cup Fall stays in the desert with the World Wide Technology Championship 2024 at El Cardonal in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The par-72 resort-style course only tops out at around 7,350 yards and is designed by tournament host Tiger Woods. Scoring will be bountiful, along with a smattering of some of the hottest rising stars in the world of golf.
The key to this course will be precision iron play on approach and converting birdies or better at a high percentage. The fairways are wide and inviting. This event could turn into a “putting contest,” meaning the person who gets hot on the greens could run away with it.

PGA DFS: World Wide Technology Championship 2024
My Most-Rostered Player: Maverick McNealy ($9,300)
I don’t often advocate for golfers who hail from Northern California. Wait, yes, I do. Maverick McNealy had a really strong showing in 2024, marked by four T10 finishes and 67.1 PGA DFS points per contest. McNealy is an accurate player who stakes his success on iron play and one of the best putting strokes on the planet. This field is wide open, meaning just about anyone can win from any price. McNealy is among the best values in expected points per salary dollar and will not be highly rostered.
Other Players in World Wide Technologies Championship Player Pool
- Jhonattan Vegas ($8,800)
- Rico Hoey ($8,200)
- Neal Shipley ($7,700)
- Pierceson Coody ($7,200)
