The Fall Swing stays in the desert with the Shriners Children’s Open 2024 at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas. The par-71 course only tops out at around 7,200 yards. Scoring will be bountiful, along with a smattering of some of the hottest rising stars in the world of golf.
The key to this course will be a wedge approach and timely putting for birdies or better. Having an accurate driver to position good approach angles will also help. Tom Kim has won here twice; he is the prototype.

PGA DFS: Shriners Children’s Open 2024
My Most-Rostered Player: Neal Shipley ($7,200)
The hottest golfer in the field is also a value play for PGA DFS junkies. I’ll be building around the talented Ohio State Buckeye, Neal Shipley. His game is similar to Kim’s but holds an advantage thanks to his length, which will be amplified at elevation. He qualified for the Shriners Children’s on Monday, so he is red-hot entering the week in Sin City.
Shipley has three T20s in his last five events, finishing within three shots of the leader once. Better yet, for PGA DFS managers, the 23-year-old has made the cut in six of his last seven tournaments. He’s a safe play that won’t burn you and could also offer some surprising upside.
Other Players in My Shriners Children’s Open Player Pool
