The Sentry 2024 Prop Bet of the Week
Tom Kim: Top-20 Finish (-110)
In his first start at The Sentry in 2023, Tom Kim finished tied for fifth and five shots back from the lead. That serves as an indicator that this course must fit his eye and one that suits his game well.
He has finished in the top 20 in five out of his last six tournaments while winning the last tournament he played in (The Shriners Children’s Open) in October. Kim’s game is rounding into form, as he’s shown he can contend in the best fields that the game has to offer, finishing T2 in the last Major of the year, The Open Championship. His play from there allowed him to advance through the FedEx Cup Playoffs and earn a bid to the Tour Championship. He currently sits 11th in the Official World Golf Rankings. It’s safe to say that I’m not the only one expecting a year filled with quality finishes out of the 21-year-old.
In a field consisting of roughly 59 players, it’s tough to pass up on the price. The Sentry will serve as a great beginning to the new year and allow us to get a glimpse of the current state of each player’s game. For the price, it’s “Thomas The Tank Engine” for me. Consider me on the train until given reason not to be.
