2024 AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 Prop Bet of the Week
Kyle Larson: Top-3 Finish (+130)
Kyle Larson had the best whip here last fall. Although the No. 5 team didn’t bring the speed they were hoping for, qualifying 11th, they worked their way up to the front and made the pass for the lead on lap 144 of 267. Larson would end up winning that stage by roughly seven seconds.
The No. 5 car was the class of the field and at the bottom of the front row for the final restart. As with any race, there is risk involved. Tire issues were a theme at this race last year, as Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch fell victim to just that. Busch had arguably a top-three car before that happened. Kyle Larson got the air taken out from under Bubba Wallace in turn No. 2 on the late-race restart and spun out with 20 laps to go. It was a disappointing way to end the day by having the best car and not ending up in victory lane.
Barring an issue with his car or a mishap on pit road, I expect Larson to be toward the front and sniffing another chance to win here in Texas.
