2024 Daytona 400 Prop Bet of the Week
Team Hendrick Motorsports To Win (+425)
At Daytona, you want to have friends on the track; more importantly, you want your friends to be fast. Drafting and working together is emphasized at superspeedways, helping drivers gain and hold track position.
Collectively, the Fords ran great here last year by utilizing this teamwork approach. It couldn’t have gone much better for Ford in the last two races at superspeedways. However, the body style of NASCAR’s version of the Ford Mustang has undergone changes heading into this year. This change brings uncertainty to the betting market. Will the car still perform on superspeedways the way it used to?
If you look past the Fords, a certain group is jumping off the page. Going back to last year’s Daytona 500, Team Hendrick qualified first, second and third. This was followed up in the Fall race at Daytona, with three Hendrick cars finishing inside of the top eight. Once again, they had the speed to find their way to the front when it mattered the most.
I’m looking for this combination of speed and teamwork to lead Team Hendrick to a Daytona 500 victory.
