2024 Shriners Children’s 500 Prop Bet of the Week
Winning Team: Team Penske (+400)
Team Penske has been very strong at this track over the last few years. There were questions coming into this week about the body style changes made to the Fords and how that might affect their performance again here. However, what I saw in practice is enough to get me to buy stock in them this week.
Ryan Blaney finished second in both Phoenix races in 2023. In the 2022 fall race, Blaney had arguably the fastest car on the track, but he used his car as a shield to block a competitor to help Joey Logano secure the championship. The Penske boys finished first and second in that race.
They brought fast cars again this week. They were both good on the long run during practice. I couldn’t decide between the two of them, so give me both at 4-to-1.
