Zurich Classic of New Orleans 2024 Prop Bet of the Week
Nick Taylor/Adam Hadwin: Top-20 Finish (-120)
The Tour heads to TPC Louisiana this week, and there should be a lot of fun in store. This week will be a mixture of a couple of different formats, one of which is a true alternate shot amongst teammates. Players not named Scottie Scheffler can breathe a sigh of relief this week, as the world’s No. 1 player will not be in attendance. A few household names are paired together at the top of the board with short odds next to their names, in Patrick Cantlay/Xander Schauffele, Sahith Theegala/Will Zalatoris and Rory McIlroy/Shane Lowry. This leads to great value being found below the surface.
The way I ran my model was a bit different this week, but no matter how I decided to run it, using the important areas of the golf game that this course calls for, one pairing kept popping out on the page. Relative to the competition this week, they both set up well for this course, and it’s no surprise that they earned a solo second-place finish here as a duo last year. This pairing of Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin shot a 9-under 63 in the final round last year and should now be equipped with the confidence needed to redeem themselves. I’m looking for the two Canadians to have a big week again this time around.
