2024 Pennzoil 400 Prop Bet of the Week

Winning Manufacturer: Toyota (+170)

Viva Las Vegas! Our first intermediate track of the year is finally here. We’ve already found success this year, fading the Ford camp in this brand-new body style they’re rolling out. It’s still early in the season, and there are a lot of unknowns. I don’t think Ford will explode out of the gates on the first 1.5-mile track of the year and be fine-tuned enough to take down the entire field. It will likely take them a few weeks to collect data and make the necessary adjustments. This is why I expect Ford to be very strong later in the season.

On the flip side, there are fewer unknowns regarding what Chevy and Toyota will bring to the table in the early part of this season.

NASCAR’s version of the Toyota Camry underwent some minor changes heading into this year, but nowhere near the size of changes that were made to the Fords. The Chevys remained relatively untouched in this regard. Hendrick Motorsports has a strong resumé at this track, and they have two extremely legitimate contenders to win this race in Kyle Larson and Wiliam Byron.

If you look past the Chevy camp, there is a swarm of Toyotas with great track records here that can give Chevy a run for their money. If Hendrick Motorsports can’t close the deal, I think it will be either Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, Bubba Wallace, Martin Truex Jr. or Tyler Reddick taking the checkered flag.
