The first leg of the PGA Tour’s Fall FedEx Cup begins in Napa, Calif., with the Procore Championship – formerly the Fortinet Championship and Safeway Open – at Silverado Resort and Spa. Though most PGA DFS players have moved onto the football season, the true fantasy golf degens remain in the thick of building lineups to take down tournaments and cash games.
Let’s get you set for the occasion with my favorite target this week and full player pool for the Procore Championship 2024.

PGA DFS Picks: Procore Championship 2024
My Most-Rostered Player: Luke Clanton ($9,500)
Luke Clanton at $9,500 feels like a bit of a steal in this Procore Championship field. He has proven to be incredibly consistent and exceedingly well-rounded. The Florida State alumnus has five made cuts in six starts and is averaging 87.8 PGA DFS points per start with an average of 68.5 strokes per round. He has three T10s, including a runner-up and a fifth-place finish, most recently at the Wyndham Championship. He rates out No. 2 overall this week and leads this field in par-4 scoring and birdie-or-better rate.
Silverado Resort and Spa has seen a few different styles emerge victorious, but no matter your style, you’ll need to throw some birdies on the card, and no one is doing that as well as Clanton right now. He does tend to struggle when he misses the green but that is not necessarily atypical of young guys on Tour. It seems to be the area that gets most of them.
The bright side is that he is No. 2 in approach and greens in regulation. He doesn’t have to flex the up-and-down game frequently. This kid is going to make a ton of noise on Tour, and he improves on an already stellar game every time he tees it up. I’ve been on him all season; the Procore Championship is not the time to jump off. He’s going to win and win a lot!
