Rostership percentages courtesy of ESPN Points Per Reception (PPR) redraft fantasy football leagues as of Tuesday, Dec. 3.
- Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (WR, Tennessee Titans) | 19.9%
- Xavier Legette (WR, Carolina Panthers) | 35.8%
- Demario Douglas (WR, New England Patriots) | 28.3%
- Adam Thielen (WR, Carolina Panthers) | 27.3%
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling (WR, New Orleans Saints) | 15.5%
- Elijah Moore (WR, Cleveland Browns) | 13.4%
- Devaughn Vele (WR, Denver Broncos) | 1.7%
- Noah Brown (WR, Washington Commanders) | 10.5%
Sterling Shepard (WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers) | 14% Rostered
Sterling Shepard may not bring excitement to your roster, but he offers reliability and red-zone potential at a time when waiver wire options are thin. Shepard has carved out a role as a secondary option in Tampa Bay’s offense, operating behind Mike Evans but ahead of most other receiving threats. While the production has been unspectacular, Shepard’s knack for being efficient with his targets makes him a worthwhile dart throw, especially in deeper leagues.
With Cade Otton’s target share fading and Bucky Irving being utilized more in the running game, Shepard has emerged as a low-ceiling but serviceable flex option. The Buccaneers’ offense leans heavily on its key contributors, and Shepard’s presence in the red zone could lead to critical fantasy points in matchups where Tampa Bay needs to air it out. If you’re struggling to find depth at receiver, Shepard’s steady (albeit unspectacular) output could fill the gap.
Kendre Miller (RB, New Orleans Saints) | 5.2% Rostered
Kendre Miller is one of the more intriguing speculative adds ahead of Week 14. After spending much of the season in obscurity, he’s expected to be activated from the Injured Reserve (IR) soon, and the Saints appear optimistic about his role moving forward. With Alvin Kamara as the primary back and Taysom Hill sidelined, Miller has a chance to carve out a complementary role in a suddenly-depleted offense. The Saints’ coaching staff has expressed newfound confidence in Miller, signaling potential opportunities for the rookie.
Though his path to fantasy relevance isn’t guaranteed, the upside is there, especially given the Saints’ lack of dynamic weapons beyond Kamara and Chris Olave, if healthy. Miller fits the bill if you’re looking for a running back stash who could surprise during the fantasy playoffs. He might not take over the backfield, but he could see enough volume to make him a viable flex option in favorable matchups.
Ray-Ray McCloud III (WR, Atlanta Falcons) | 11.2% Rostered
Ray-Ray McCloud III has been quietly productive, setting a new career high in receiving yards last week. Once considered a gadget player and return specialist, McCloud has transitioned into a scrappy slot receiver, earning double-digit PPR points in three of his last four games. Since Week 9, he’s been the WR43 on a points-per-game basis, making him a sneaky addition for managers in need of receiving help.
The Falcons face the Vikings in Week 14, which is the best matchup for opposing wide receivers and bodes well for McCloud’s continued production. While Atlanta’s offense remains inconsistent, McCloud has shown enough reliability to warrant flex consideration, particularly in PPR formats. With a middling rest-of-season schedule for wide receivers, McCloud is worth a waiver wire pickup for managers seeking depth or spot-start value in favorable matchups.
