NFL Week 7 Player Prop Bets of the Week (2024)

Jayden Daniels (QB, Washington Commanders) | 2+ Passing Touchdowns (-145)

The only reason I can see the odds being so manageable on this prop is that Vegas thinks Brian Robinson Jr. will run wild on a miserable Carolina defense. That may be true, as they quickly pulled down my other favorite bet of Robinson Jr. going over 70 rushing yards. That said, Daniels has thrown multiple TDs in two of his last four games, and the Panthers are allowing a sieve-like 34 points per game.

Washington plays an uptempo game at home, running 67 offensive plays per game, which is tied for the third-most in the NFL. With an implied points total of 51.5, there will be plenty of scoring to go around, and I’m confident that the young phenom will find paydirt at least twice through the air, particularly with the help of two dynamic pass-catchers in the backfield. An anytime touchdown is also -125 for those who want to double down on the 23-year-old’s ability with his legs. He has run in four balls over six games.

George Kittle (TE, San Francisco 49ers) | Over 4.5 Receptions (-120)

George Kittle has had 28 catches (second among tight ends) on 35 targets (third) through five games this season. The big man has been relied on heavily in the passing game for several reasons: Christian McCaffrey is out, Brandon Aiyuk is underperforming and Deebo Samuel seems to be perpetually nagged by injuries. He’s proven especially valuable in the second half with the game on the line, evidenced by his two touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters, respectively, last Thursday.

The 49ers have had a long week (though not as long as Kansas City, which was on a bye) to prepare for this Super Bowl rematch. Cincinnati and Baltimore’s tight ends victimized the Chiefs to the tune of 25 combined catches. Additionally, they surrendered seven more to the New Orleans Saints just before the bye week. Kittle should be featured heavily in front of the home crowd, with the added incentive of outperforming Travis Kelce. I believe he’ll hit this prop just after halftime and coast.

Stefon Diggs (WR, Houston Texans) | 70+ Receiving Yards (-105)

This is a complete smash, and if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, you can bump it up to 80+ yards for a +145 payout. Stefon Diggs is a target magnet and is even more so now that Nico Collins is on Injured Reserve (IR). He’s already gone over the magic number of 70 in three of his last four contests and once hit 69 (nice). One of those games was after Collins had already accounted for two receptions and a touchdown before Diggs went off for 82 yards of his own the rest of the way.

With C.J. Stroud‘s propensity for throwing the ball downfield, he’s likely looking forward to this matchup. The Green Bay pass defense is allowing 228.7 yards per game through the air, good for eighth-most in the league. Diggs might get the Jaire Alexander treatment from the Packers, but Alexander’s status is still up in the air. He’s been nursing a groin injury for several weeks now and has only been able to practice in a limited fashion. That’s not the ideal person to cover one of the sharpest route-runners in the NFL.

As noted, 70-plus yards is almost too easy – candy from a baby and whatnot. I will likely bet multiple units on it and slap an extra one on 80-plus for the bonus.

Best of luck with all of your bets this weekend. Brick by brick, we build!
