Week 11 Fantasy Football Trade Targets (2024)

Trade For: Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, Arizona Cardinals)

Marvin Harrison Jr. arrived with a wave of anticipation in his rookie season. As the undisputed No. 1 wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, with strong draft capital as the fourth-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, a hall-of-fame dad and unparalleled collegiate production, the expectations were sky-high. While Harrison Jr. may not have fully met his Average Draft Position (ADP), there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon.

Harrison Jr. has failed to hit double-digit Points Per Reception (PPR) fantasy points in half of his games this season. However, he’s had at least 16.4 points in two of the last three weeks. Harrison Jr. managed five catches for 54 yards and an outstanding touchdown on Sunday, although the Cardinals didn’t need his services the entire game as they routed the Jets 31-6.

Fantasy managers should remain optimistic on the stretch run for Harrison Jr. The Cardinals are on bye in Week 11. If you can make do without him in Week 11, that’s even more reason to snag him.

Per Jacob Gibbs of CBS Sports, Harrison Jr. is crushing press coverage. When looking at WRs who have run at least 50 routes versus press coverage, the Ohio State product ranks first in targets per route run, second in first downs per route run and fourth in yards per route run. While fantasy managers probably expected high-end production sooner, the game is starting to click for the rookie, and he’s building chemistry with QB Kyler Murray

The next three matchups include the Seattle Seahawks twice and the Minnesota Vikings in-between. Both teams are in the bottom-10 of the league in fantasy points allowed to the position. This sets the stage for Harrison Jr. to potentially have a field day. He should be a top fantasy football trade target, and his slower start to the season could open the door.

Trade Away: J.K. Dobbins (RB, Los Angeles Chargers)

Against all odds, J.K. Dobbins has beaten injury concerns and was the RB13 on a points-per-game basis heading into Week 10. On Sunday, Gus Edwards returned to the Chargers’ lineup to inherit 10 carries for 55 yards. Edwards was considerably more efficient than Dobbins, who had 15 carries, but for five fewer yards than Edwards.

Given Edward’s ties to the coaching staff, it isn’t surprising that he was immediately back in the mix, but the issue is twofold for Dobbins moving forward. He’s made his hay this season when he finds the end zone, averaging 20.5 points in games where he has scored a touchdown. But in games where he has failed to score, Dobbins is averaging just 8.9 fantasy points.

In Week 10, not only did Dobbins not hit pay dirt, but QB Justin Herbert ran for a touchdown, as did third-string RB Hassan Haskins. The Haskins score is likely an outlier, but Herbert has rushed for at least 30 yards in two of his last three contests. If both Herbert and Edwards are going to eat into the rushing share for Dobbins, it could be feast or famine going forward, with famine winning out more weeks than not. It’s time to trade Dobbins on the promise of volume and touchdowns.

Trade Radar: Russell Wilson (QB, Pittsburgh Steelers)

He is beauty, he is grace, he is unlimited and undefeated in 2024. Russell Wilson has found the fountain of youth with this Pittsburgh Steelers team. Since taking over in Week 7, the Steelers have averaged 30 points per game.

Wilson has averaged 18.9 fantasy points per game over his first three starts. As of Week 10, that would have been good enough to make him QB10 on a points-per-game basis. Newly acquired veteran wide receiver Mike Williams had an immediate impact when he connected with Wilson for a 32-yard touchdown. Williams gives Wilson another definitive deep threat moving forward, so we should see more of Wilson’s famous “moon ball” throws.

The Steelers will face the Ravens, Browns and Bengals over the next month, and the best of their collective defenses are ranked 13th in points allowed to the quarterback position. Given the bumpy ride Wilson had during his time in Denver and his injury concerns coming into the 2024 season, it can be challenging to jump into the flames, but just throw out a couple of fantasy football trade offers. Until he proves otherwise, Wilson has the goodies for fantasy (and millennials can enjoy singing Ciara the rest of the day).
